Civil Emergency Measures Act
In the Yukon, municipalities are obligated to establish emergency plans in accordance with The Civil Emergency Measures Act, 2002. This legislation requires that municipalities establish an Emergency Management Committee, appoint an Emergency Coordinator, and prepare an emergency plan.
